Backup run · last night
All jobs verifiedHardware fails. People delete things.
Ransomware encrypts everything.
Copying files to a USB stick or an external drive once in a while isn’t a backup, it’s a hope. Gone are the days of remembering to do it manually, and of finding out too late that the copy was corrupt.
How data actually gets lost
The drive simply dies
No warning, no clicking noise, nothing to recover, and data recovery from a failed disk costs hundreds, with no guarantee.
Someone deletes the wrong folder
Emptied from the recycle bin three weeks ago, and nobody noticed until the accounts needed it.
Ransomware encrypts the lot
Including the external drive that was plugged in at the time, and the network share it could reach.
The laptop is stolen or flooded
One event, one location, and both the working copy and the backup drive next to it are gone.
The backup was running, but not working
Failing quietly for eight months because nobody was checking the log.
What a managed backup gives you
It happens without you
Automatic and scheduled, running quietly in the background, no drives to plug in and nothing to remember.
Off-site by default
Your data sits in secure UK cloud storage, so a fire, flood or theft at your premises doesn’t take the backup with it.
Previous versions, not just last night
Roll a single file back to how it looked last Tuesday, or recover something deleted a fortnight ago.
Copies ransomware can't touch
Immutable off-site copies that cannot be encrypted, altered or deleted, even with your credentials.
Someone actually checking
We monitor every job, chase failures the same day, and test restores, so it works on the day it matters.
From one family laptop
to a server room.
Cloud based backup for home and business, on Windows and Mac, priced per device or per user so you only cover what you actually have.
Laptops & desktops
Documents, desktop, photos, mail data files and any folders you nominate, on Windows and Apple Mac alike.
Servers & NAS
File servers, shared drives and network storage, backed up incrementally overnight so working hours aren’t affected.
Microsoft 365
Exchange mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, Microsoft keeps the service running, but the data is your responsibility.
File versioning
Recover a previous revision of a file, not just the latest copy, the version history goes back 30 days as standard.
Ransomware-resilient copies
Immutable off-site retention, so an attacker with your passwords still cannot delete or encrypt the backup.
Enterprise-grade encryption
Advanced Encryption Standard with a 256-bit key, applied in transit and at rest. Your data is unreadable to anyone else.
Daily monitoring & verification
Every job is checked, failures are chased the same working day, and sample restores are tested so the backup is proven.
Restore on request
Email, phone or text us and we do the restore for you, one file, one folder or an entire machine after a rebuild.
Setup, seeding & reporting
We install and configure everything, seed the first full copy, then report on protected data and retention monthly.
The 3-2-1 rule,
without you lifting a finger.
The backup standard every IT professional works to. Most businesses we meet are running one copy, in one place, checked by nobody.
Three copies of your data
The live copy you work on, the local copy for fast recovery, and the off-site cloud copy for the bad day.
Two different media
Local storage and secure UK cloud storage, so one type of failure, or one location, can't take out both.
One copy off-site & immutable
Held where ransomware can't reach it and nothing can overwrite it inside the retention window.
Backup is recovery, not protection, it pairs with managed security services that stop the attack in the first place.
Deleted something important, or hit by ransomware?
Ring us. If your data is with us we'll start the restore immediately and tell you honestly what can and can't come back. If you're not a client yet, we'll still help, we can assess the device, recover what's retrievable, and get a real backup in place so it never happens twice.
- Deleted files & folders
- Overwritten documents
- Ransomware encryption
- Failed hard drives
- Lost or stolen laptops
- Full machine rebuilds
Four stages,
and only one of them needs you.
We scope it, we set it up, it runs itself, and we’re the ones watching. You get involved when you want something back.
Work out what actually matters
We look at what you hold and where it lives: which machines, which folders, the server shares, the Microsoft 365 tenant. Then we agree how far back you need to go and how quickly you'd need it returned.
- Devices & data audit
- Retention agreed
- Fixed monthly price
Set it up and seed the first copy
We install and configure the backup agents, select the data, and get the first full copy safely into secure UK cloud storage, throttled so it doesn't strangle your internet connection during the working day.
- Agents installed
- First full copy seeded
- Schedule set overnight
Nightly, encrypted, and verified
Only what changed is sent each night, encrypted with AES-256 before it leaves the device. We check every job the next morning, chase any failure the same day, and test sample restores so the backup is proven rather than assumed.
- Incremental nightly runs
- Immutable off-site copy
- Restores tested regularly
One call and it comes back
Email, phone or text and we handle the restore, a single file from last Tuesday, a folder someone emptied last month, a mailbox, or an entire machine after a failure. You don't need to learn any software to get your data back.
- We do the restore
- File, folder or full device
- 30-day version history
Priced per device
or per user.
No long tie-ins and no charge for restores, getting your data back is the point of the service, not an extra.

Backup is the safety net.
These stop the fall.
Most clients pair backup with security and monitoring, so a bad day is an inconvenience rather than a crisis.
Managed security
Three layers watching your devices and your logins around the clock, stopping the ransomware that would otherwise have you testing your restore process for real.
Microsoft 365
Microsoft guarantees the service, not your data. We handle the tenant, the licensing and the migration, and back the whole thing up properly.
Computer maintenance
Disk health, updates and performance watched on every machine, so we usually see a drive starting to fail before it takes your data with it.
Common questions
Before you get in touch.
Isn't OneDrive or Dropbox already a backup?
No, those are sync services. If a file is encrypted by ransomware or deleted on your laptop, the change syncs to the cloud copy too. Backup keeps separate, historical, immutable copies that a problem on your device cannot reach.
Do I need to remember to do anything?
No. It runs automatically to a schedule, in the background, whether or not you think about it. We check the results daily and contact you if something needs your attention.
How far back can you go?
12 months as standard, so you can recover a file as it was on a particular day rather than only the most recent copy. Longer retention is available where you have compliance requirements.
How secure is it?
Data is encrypted with the Advanced Encryption Standard using a 256-bit key, in transit and at rest, and stored in secure UK data centres. Nobody can read your files without your key, including us.
How long does a restore take?
Individual files and folders are usually back within the hour. A full machine or server depends on the volume of data and your connection speed, we’ll give you a realistic time when you call, and start immediately.
Do you charge for restores?
No. Restores are part of the service on every plan. Charging for the one moment the service exists for would be a strange way to do business.
Does it work on Apple Macs?
Yes, Windows and macOS are both supported, and a mixed office is no problem. Servers, NAS devices and Microsoft 365 are covered too.
Will it slow down my computer or internet?
Very unlikely. After the first full copy, only changes are sent, jobs are scheduled overnight, and bandwidth is throttled so backup never competes with your working day.
Find out what a proper backup would cost you.
Tell us how many devices and users you have, whether there’s a server involved, and what you’d hate to lose. We’ll come back with a fixed monthly price and set the whole thing up for you.
