Fixed while you're
still on the phone.
You give us a session code, we connect to your screen, and you watch every click we make. No call-out charge, no waiting in for an engineer, and no unplugging the machine and carrying it anywhere. When it can’t be fixed remotely, we’ll say so straight away.

ConnectedQuick remote support
We'll give you a code over the phone. Nothing connects until you enter it and click accept on your own machine.
If it's software,
it's probably a remote job.
Roughly four in five of the problems people ring us about never need anyone to be in the room. Hardware is the exception, not the rule.
Email setup & problems
New accounts, Outlook that won’t connect, mail stuck in the outbox, shared mailboxes and signatures, set up on every device you use.
Antivirus installation
Licensed protection installed, configured and renewed for you, no more expired trial nagging at you every time you switch the machine on.
Virus & spyware removal
Pop-ups, hijacked browsers and adware cleared while you watch. If it’s too deep to clean remotely we’ll tell you and bring it in instead.
Printer & scanner setup
Drivers, network printers that have vanished after an update, scan-to-email and the shared printer nobody in the office can find any more.
PC & laptop health checks
A proper look at what’s slowing the machine down: startup load, disk health, updates, temperature and whether it’s worth upgrading or replacing.
PC & laptop auditing
What’s installed, what’s licensed, what’s out of support and what needs replacing, documented, so you’re planning spend rather than reacting to it.
Backup setup & checks
Getting a backup running properly, and, more importantly, proving a restore works rather than assuming it does.
Website updates & support
Content changes, plugin and platform updates, and fixing the page that’s broken, without waiting for a developer to have a free afternoon.
Updates & general fixes
Windows updates that won’t install, software that won’t launch, settings that have changed, and the thing that’s been annoying you for months.
Four steps,
and you're in control of all of them.
No software left running afterwards, no standing access to your machine, and nothing happens without you clicking accept.
Ring us and describe it
Two minutes on the phone usually tells us whether it’s a remote fix, a workshop job or something that needs a visit. We’ll tell you which before anything starts.
Enter the code we give you
A small connector downloads and a six-digit session ID goes in. Nothing runs until you start it, and you approve the connection on your own screen.
Watch us work
You see every click on your own monitor and stay on the phone throughout. If you want us to stop, say so or close the window, the session ends immediately.
Session ends, access ends
When we disconnect, the access goes with it. Nothing is left installed and we can’t reconnect without you giving us a fresh code.
Faster, cheaper,
and it doesn't cost you a day.
Remote support isn’t a lesser version of a visit. For software problems it’s simply the better way to do it, and for anything else, we still come out.
Connected in minutes
No slot next Tuesday. Most sessions begin while you’re still on the phone describing the problem.
No call-out charge
You’re paying for the fix, not for travel time, parking and the hour it takes to get across Birmingham.
Straight to diagnosis
Instead of describing an error message down the phone, we look at it. Troubleshooting that took twenty minutes takes two.
Less downtime
Nothing is unplugged, nothing is carried anywhere, and nobody waits in for an afternoon. You carry on working around us.
Anywhere you are
Working from home, at a client site, or on the road. Location makes no difference to a remote session.
Proactive as well as reactive
On a support contract our monitoring often spots a failing disk or a stalled backup before you’ve noticed anything at all.
Hardware faults, screen replacements and dead machines still need hands. We'll tell you honestly which one you've got.
Is it safe to let someone
onto my computer?
A fair question, scammers use the same kind of tool. The difference is who’s asking, and how the session starts. Here’s exactly how ours works, and how to tell a real session from a fraudulent one.
Signs of a scam session
They rang you
Genuine support responds to your request. Nobody legitimate calls out of the blue to say your computer has a problem.
A pop-up gave you the number
Microsoft, Apple and BT do not put phone numbers on warning screens. That screen is the scam.
They create urgency
Your machine is “sending data”, your bank is “at risk”, you must act now. Pressure is the tactic, every time.
They ask you to log into your bank
No support engineer ever needs that. If it happens, close the lid and ring your bank.
They want gift cards or a transfer
Nobody real is paid in vouchers. If you’ve already let someone connect, disconnect from the internet and call us.
How our sessions work
You start it, every time
The session only exists because you rang us and entered a code we gave you. We can’t initiate a connection to you.
One code, one session
The ID works once. When the session ends it’s dead, and a new one needs a new code from us.
You see everything
Your screen shows every action we take, and we stay on the phone talking you through it. Nothing happens out of sight.
You can end it instantly
Close the window and the connection drops. No permission is needed and nothing is left behind.
Encrypted, and a local company you can visit
The connection is encrypted end to end, and we’re a Birmingham business you can ring, look up and walk into.
Remote support is one part of IT support.
Pay-as-you-go sessions suit home users and one-off problems perfectly. Once a business is relying on it every week, a support contract costs less and covers more, including the visits that remote can’t handle.
- Unlimited remote support - stop weighing up whether a problem is worth ringing about.
- On-site when it needs hands - hardware faults and installs included rather than charged separately.
- Monitoring that catches it first - failing disks, stalled backups and missing patches flagged before they become your problem.
- Someone who knows your setup - no explaining your network from scratch every time you call.
- Predictable monthly cost - budgeted support instead of unpredictable hourly bills.

When remote
isn't the answer.
We’d rather tell you in the first two minutes than bill you for an hour of trying. These are the cases that need something else, and what we do instead.
No boot, no screen, no connection. It comes to the workshop for diagnosis, and we quote before any work starts.
Cracked screens, failed batteries, liquid damage and dead drives. Hands on the hardware, priced up front.
Wi-fi black spots, switches, cabling and anything that needs someone standing in the building to see it.
When several machines are affected regularly, one-off sessions stop making sense. That's a contract conversation.
If we can't fix it remotely, you don't pay for the attempt.
By the session,
by the block, or covered entirely.
Home users usually pay per session. Businesses ringing us most weeks are almost always better off on a contract.
Single session
One problem, one fix
- Connected usually within minutes
- Priced before we connect, not after
- You watch every step on your screen
- Nothing left installed afterwards
- No fix, no charge
Quoted before we connect · pay as you go
Best for small teams
Block hours
Pre-paid support time
- Everything in a single session, plus:
- Discounted hourly rate, bought up front
- Drawn down in fifteen-minute increments
- Use it across any machine in the business
- Simple and easy to connect
- No expiry pressure or monthly commitment
Quoted before we start · discounted rate, bought up front
Support contract
Remote included, unlimited
- Unlimited remote support, no per-call cost
- On-site visits*
- Proactive monitoring and patching
- Managed antivirus and backup available
- Named engineer who knows your setup
- One predictable monthly invoice
From £20 per user, per month. *On-site visits are chargeable and quoted when required.
If a session turns out to need a visit or the workshop, what you've paid comes off that job instead.
What remote support
connects to.
The services most often delivered through a remote session, or picked up once one shows what’s really going on.
IT support
Unlimited remote plus on-site, monitoring, patching and a named engineer, for businesses past the pay-per-call stage.
Virus removal
Most infections are dealt with in a remote session, contained, removed, and the machine repaired while you watch.
Managed backup
Backup configured remotely, then monitored by our engineers with restores actually tested rather than assumed.
Common questions
Before you connect.
Can you see my files when you're connected?
We see your screen, the same as if we were sitting next to you, so we can see what’s on it. We only open what’s needed to fix the problem, you’re watching the whole time, and you can end the session instantly if you’re not comfortable.
Do you keep access to my computer afterwards?
No. The session ID works once and access ends when we disconnect. Nothing is left installed on a pay-as-you-go session. Contract customers have a monitoring agent installed, but that’s agreed with you beforehand.
What if my machine won't get online?
Then remote isn’t an option and we’ll say so straight away. Depending on the fault it’s either a workshop job or a site visit, and we’ll tell you which on the phone rather than charging you to find out.
How quickly can you connect?
Usually within minutes of the call, during our hours of Mon-Sat 09:00-20:00. If we’re mid-session with someone else we’ll book you a slot rather than leave you waiting on hold.
Does it work on Macs?
Yes, Windows and macOS both. macOS will ask you to grant screen and control permissions the first time, and we’ll talk you through that as part of the session.
Can you help my staff at home as well as in the office?
Yes. Location makes no difference to a remote session, which is exactly why it suits hybrid teams. On a support contract, home-based staff are covered the same as anyone at a desk.
Someone already connected to my PC and I think it was a scam.
Disconnect the machine from the internet, don’t use it for banking, and ring us. We’ll treat it as a full compromise: find and remove any remote access tool left behind, check what was reachable, and give you a list of accounts to reset in priority order.
What do you charge if you can't fix it?
Nothing. If a remote session can’t solve the problem you’re not charged for the attempt, and anything you have paid comes off the workshop or on-site job instead.
Need a quote on Remote Support Services?
Describe what’s happening and we’ll tell you straight away whether it’s a remote fix, a workshop job or a visit. If it’s remote, we’ll give you a session code and be looking at it before the kettle’s boiled, and if we can’t fix it, you don’t pay.
